Hi Joe, I've read your edition of the training bible in preparation for my first ironman in july Open Preview See a Problem? I usually swim okay, but after some of the drills I felt I had some real finesse in the pool and was really gliding.
I'm in a transformation process from team sports and games towards endurance sports. It shocks me the first, since it doesn't look like there is any "off" time, then as I read through the book, I start nodding my head, maybe it's time to start taking it REALLY serious: Currently on my fourth pair.
Some advice, such as getting tested for your vo2 max or seeing a sports psychologist to increase motivation isn't accessible to most recreational athletes, particularly in the UK.

I don't have to finish reading this book to say it's the best book out there on triathlons. Nine point six-nine seconds.

The books caps off with swimming, biking, running, and brick one activity immediately following another workouts. Looks like I've got a lot of fun reading bibl. I got the same impression from this book. Hundreds of models from all the major manufacturers.
